The Shoot (Playstation 3/Move Controller)
I was contracted as an Audio Intern at Cohort Studios working with Lead Audio Designer James Scanlan on The Shoot, a casual on-rails shooter game which was released alongside PlayStation 3’s new “Move” controller in October 2010.
As an audio intern, my job had several key responsibilities, including:
· Selecting recordings of character dialogues to be used for the game’s 13 different languages and subsequently implementing the dialogue into the video game
· Selecting SFX to be used with the props and environments in the game
·Editing music clips to ensure the music on each level of the game loops seamlessly
·Testing the game to search for characters or props with missing or incorrect audio tags
