Little John Rocket
(Taken from LJR MySpace...)
"Little John Rocket were a five-piece rock band dwelling within Glasgow's healthy music scene. Little John Rocket's dark melodic indie rock, lyrics and artwork all come together to form a fresh, succinct modern rock band." In July 2007, Little John Rocket signed to Framingo Records, subsequently releasing the singles "At An End" and "Basement" (with "Forget About Us" as a B-side). All the tracks were recorded at Rico's Doghouse Studios in Glasgow. Little John Rocket went on to perform live in front of sell out crowds at Glasgow's famous King Tut's, and also played alongside the likes of The Matches, Hoosiers, Coolio, and Dead Kennedy's in Edinburgh on their only Scottish date of their European tour. In 2009, the band split amicably before the sudden passing of guitarist Colin 'Silver' McNicholl. Little John Rocket Myspace Page | Basement |
